THE ROLE
The Farfetch Observability team manages the Observability Platform at Farfetch. As part of this team, you will partner with other engineers to build the necessary tools and automation that help us improve the engineers' visibility, availability, uptime, and responsiveness spreading reliability and observability culture, and love, and best practices throughout the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Build tools using Python or Go to automate Reliability Measurement for teams at Farfetch
Guide engineering teams to improve the Reliability with documents and presentations
Build and deploy tools to improve and deliver integrations with multiple and different systems.

WHO YOU ARE
Graduate or higher in Computer Science or another technical discipline, or related practical experience
Engineer with demonstrated experience in software development and infrastructure using CloudNative technologies
Solid experience with Python or Golang
Solid knowledge of Reliability Levels definition, measurements, and guidance
Experienced in Linux, including provisioning, troubleshooting, and hardening
Knowledgeable of Monitoring solutions (preferably in Prometheus and Thanos)
Experienced in Public cloud providers (specifically Azure and AWS) with their APIs
Focused on debugging, understanding, and optimizing code
You believe in open source and knowledge sharing
Proficient in English - written and verbal communication skills
