Where in the world will I be working?
Our aim is to help people manage their energy usage and to support the UK’s drive to reduce carbon emissions. This means supporting new products which help our customers to improve their homes’ energy efficiency.
Our Field Force business includes hundreds of smart meter installers and electrical engineers who visit homes to install hardware like smart meters and IOT energy devices, as well as the scheduling staff who plan and manage their workloads.
As we continue to grow our business, we need to keep our cost-per-install low, which we plan to do by increasing our installs per day, better route planning, and decreasing failed installs.
We’ve recently created a new team to create custom tools for our engineers and schedulers to achieve these goals.
What will I be doing?
This role will play a crucial part in bringing our new Field Force platform to life. You'll be guiding the teams, setting the execution strategy and supporting them to deliver to the best of their ability.
Ideally you may have some relevant domain experience but more importantly, be customer and outcome-focussed and highly adept at lean product development and be able to support teams in both areas.
You’ll be operating at speed, across new systems, new processes, new teams so you'll be constantly learning, iterating and moving forward.
You'll work closely with the commercial owners, engineering and UX leads for Field Force to set new benchmarks for the sector.
