What you will be doing


What you'll be doing :

  • Handle all client inquiries received via phone, fax or email
  • Provide all quotations via phone, fax and email
  • Receive bookings via phone, fax, email & CRC (client’s own booking system) and update in the Transport Management System
  • Monitor, tracks, edits and maintains jobs (Exports / Imports)
  • Keep clients fully updated as to the status of their shipments, especially in regards to any delays, monitors shipments during the transport and reacts flexibly to any deviation from the plan
  • Orders drivers (pickup / delivery of shipments at the customer, delivery / pickup of shipments at the freight-company)
  • Performs a Routing Check , specifically in regard to the selection and combination of different transport models (airplane, car, train, Aerolink)
  • Checks the planned departure or arrival times of flights ( Post Flight Check )
  • Manages the storeroom (packaging, supplies, cooling-media, etc)
  • Communicates with national and international World Courier stations / Aerolink / agents
  • Builds and maintains relationships to contractors / transporters (airlines, handling agents, the Rail, customs, government agencies, veterinarians, suppliers, etc).
  • Cold Chain Management Specific Tasks

  • Determine which shipping system should be used for any given cold chain shipment.
  • Communicate any temperature results to the client as soon as the delivery has taken place after reviewing the results to check any deviations
  • What your background should look like

    What you'll have :

  • Proficiency with working tools such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to independently manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Able to provide relevant ad-hoc information on request
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Dependable, Reliable, Trustworthy and Self-motivated
  • Strong Team player able to work constructively with colleagues inside and outside the department to ensure the best possible service is provided to the client at all times.
