International Mobility Team is part of the BNP Paribas Group Human Resources within the Compensation and Benefits department.

Our mission is to manage international transfers from and to all over the world.

This requires strong collaboration across existing stakeholders in BNP PARIBAS Group Human Resources (Global Assignments Steering Center, Payroll departments and Group International Mobility teams) as well as close partnership with HR Business Partners and HR in countries.

Your Main Activities Are

Package calculations, related documentation and support

  • Be the first point of contact for queries relating to package calculations
  • Prepare compensation and benefit packages (automated, using external technology, or manually), paying particular attention to technical aspects (fiscal, social, legal, pensions, )
  • Have the sensibility to identify possible liabilities from a tax and social security perspective in what concerns each country on own portfolio.
  • Prepare draft assignment letters, extensions, addenda and other documentation
  • Document and track country specificities for the relevant scope of activity
  • Accountable for the advice, support and guidance to internal clients (HRBPs and management, global mobility teams, and others) in respect of their assignments and packages, with a particular view to covering technical aspects (as above)
  • Participate in the teams annual recurring processes (one-off adjustments, calculation updates, and other)
  • Participate in improving processes and tools

  • Monitor assignment end and other expiry dates action as required Ensure internal delivery is in line with SLAs and KPIs
  • Ensure Compliance with Group policy and procedures

  • Ensure Group internal compliance requirements are respected at all times Ensure application and respect of the Groups policies and procedures Oversee technical aspects (as above) and their developments to ensure compliance across the Group
  • Collaborate with the other members of the team and departments as required

  • Lisbon global mobility team and broader global mobility HR teams elsewhere in the Group around the world
  • Occasional contact as required with other internal functions (legal, compliance, employee relations, risk and permanent control, General Inspection, GHR communications, )
  • Occasional contact as required with other external parties (legal advisors, French authorities, EU bodies, )
  • Profile and Skills to Success

  • University degree in relevant area
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of professional experience
  • Previous experience on international mobility and on tax, social security or other related tax topics is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English, both in written and spoken, is mandatory. Knowledge in French would be an advantage
  • Experience in Microsoft Office tools
  • Attention to detail / rigor
